St. Paul's Church - World Trade Center

A paradox between business and spirituality is hinted at in this city landscape showcasing one of lower Manhattan's significant churches. The wrought iron fence opens to the gardens and sanctuary that contrast so boldly with the concrete and steel all around. The steeple, silhouetted by the World Trade Center that once dominated the western vista from this spot on Broadway, rises triumphantly as a beacon of virtue amidst stark and sometimes greedy commerce.
